No, we welcome riders of all experience levels. Our beginner-friendly trails like the Forest Creek Path are perfect for first-timers, and we provide thorough instruction before each ride. Our expert guides are always present to offer assistance and our horses are selected based on your comfort level.

We recommend long pants (jeans work well), closed-toe shoes or boots with a small heel, and weather-appropriate layers. Helmets are provided and required for all riders. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a small water bottle that can be secured in the saddle bag.

We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend rides and our popular Sunset Meadow Tour. During peak season (May-September), booking 3-4 weeks ahead is advisable. However, we sometimes have last-minute availability, so it's always worth checking.

Rides take place in light rain (we provide rain ponchos), but will be rescheduled in cases of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme temperatures for the safety of both riders and horses. We'll contact you 24 hours before your scheduled ride if weather is a concern, and you can reschedule or receive a full refund.

For safety reasons, riders must be at least 8 years old, and we have a weight limit of 240 pounds. Children 8-12 must ride with an adult on the same trail. We offer special pony experiences for younger children (ages 4-7) in our paddock area, where they can enjoy a gentle, led experience.
